How to use Json Result between silverlight and web application

I have a web application and client side silverLight app. Silverlight app uses video files and other data which come from web application. Now i want to know how can we use data from web app. I can not use web service/Wcf for it as per client requirement. I can use Json for it.

So, can anyone suggest me how to use Json between silverlight & web application without using any web service or WCF. Please give me useful example
