How to reduce xap size in silverlight 4?

Hi Ther,

I have created silverlight 4 application. In that i have used 3rd party dll's like Imagetools.dll. while i try to reduce xap size by checking option in silverlight, system dll's like System.Windows.Controls, System.Windows.Controls.Data, etc, they are extracting in zip format inside clientbin but not the imagetool.dll. It still remains inside xap.

How to separate that imagetools.dll from xap?

Any Suggestions... Thanks in advance

Hi nasurudeen,

To make a third assembly cachable, please follow the below blog to add an external part manifest for the assembly

Hi Shi Ding,

I checked out ur link earlier itself.

Its not making the 3rd party dll(not system dll) out of the xap file. still it resides inside xap file only..

Anu suggestions..?
