Error 2105: Initialization error.

Hi, 

I am getting error 2105 Initialization error for silverlight runtime environment 4.1.1011 environment and IE version is 8

This error is found on Windows Server 2003 R2 and and Windows XP seervice pack 3 where browser installed is IE 8. 

This problem is not see when IE 9 is in use. 

Apart from runtime I wont be able to install any developer tool since its a deployment machine. Only runtime installation is possible. 

Please suggest any patch / hotfix which will fix the issue on said OS.

This happens when i am running IE 8 and  Silverlight runtime 4.1.10111.0

OS on which this is observed is Windows server 2003 R2, Windows XP service pack 3

This doesnt happen on windows 7 ( 32 bit) and 64 bit.

Hi,

This is a compatibility issue.

IE8 always give error with Silverlight. Maybe you should try to use IE9 for your project.
